IE2S Summer Event 2025 in Munich
This was the IE2S Summer Event 2025: Laughing, experiencing, and growing together
Two days full of Bavarian spirit, engaging conversations, and inspiring impulses brought our 60 colleagues from all over Germany even closer together. Whether behind the scenes at the Giesinger Brewery, during the values workshop at the idyllic Feringasee or on an alpaca hike – everywhere it was clear: at IE2S community, openness, and team spirit are not just buzzwords, but part of our daily lives.
A traditional Bavarian start: the art of brewing and beer garden atmosphere
The event kicked off with a tour at the Giesinger Brewery in the heart of Munich. Surrounded by brightly painted brew kettles, we gained fascinating insights into the art of brewing, and of course enjoyed a tasting session. The evening ended with relaxed conversations in the beer garden, accompanied by Bavarian cuisine and an open atmosphere where connections extended beyond project work.
Bringing values to life: Workshop and team challenge at Lake Feringa
The second day was all about our common values. In the idyllic surroundings of Lake Feringa, we took part in an interactive workshop to explore the cornerstones of our corporate culture: compliance, appreciation, entrepreneurship, teamwork, self-organization, diversity, authenticity, transparency, and sustainability.
In an open exchange, different perspectives became apparent and concrete ideas were developed on how we can live our values even more strongly in our everyday work. It was clear from the discussions that we not only share corporate values, we actively shape them.
Afterwards, the focus shifted from reflection to active experience: during a mini-Olympics in teams, with tasks involving creativity, skill, and cooperation, there was a lot of laughter and, incidentally, team spirit was strengthened once again in a playful way.
Free time, diversity, and special memories
In the afternoon, participants had the chance to invest their energy in individual ways: while some got active with beach volleyball and stand-up paddleboarding on the lake, another group enjoyed unforgettable and fun moments on an alpaca hike. This variety of activities reflected what also characterizes our daily collaboration: diverse interests enrich the whole and make our community special.
The perfect ending was a dinner together right by the lake. Over a barbecue buffet with a variety of side dishes and ice cream for dessert, we reviewed the day's experiences before music, dancing, and lots of conversation created a feeling of connection that went far beyond a typical corporate event.
Cohesion, motivation, and fresh energy for IE2S
The IE2S Summer Event 2025 in Munich impressively demonstrated how important shared experiences are for motivation, cohesion, and a strong corporate culture: we are a team that not only names its values but actively lives them. With fresh energy, new impulses, and a strengthened sense of togetherness, we are ready for the months ahead and the exciting projects awaiting us on the path to the energy transition.
A big thank you goes to the organizing team and management, who made this special event possible. Many beautiful impressions and little stories from these two days will stay with us for a long time – both in our work and beyond.
